Description of Works Carried Out:
This project involved the supply and installation of air conditioning and mechanical services systems to serve Cement Australia’s Office and Laboratory Facility at Darra. The project included:
Supply and installation of Chilled Water System incorporating:
- 500kW Air Cooled Screw Chiller
- Chilled Water Pumps with VSD control
- Chilled Water Storage Tank
- Air Handling Units with VSD control
- Pressure Independent VAV heaters
- Chilled Water Reticulation and Ductwork
Supply and installation of specialised plant to Concrete Testing Room with 50C to 400C operating range.
Supply and installation of critical temperature and humidity plant to Concrete Curing Room.
Supply and installation of mechanical services systems. Systems included:
- Fume Cupboards
- Laboratory Ventilation Systems
- Amenities Exhaust Systems
- Outside Air Supply Systems
Supply and installation of Mechanical Switchboards and DDC controls to operate the above plant and equipment
Coordination of site works with builder
NEBB Certified Commissioning of the completed systems
